The Good News Message of God's Grace

G = GOD LOVES YOU and wants to have a relationship with you. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

He wants you to have a FULFILLED LIFE. Jesus said: I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)

R = RECOGNIZE THAT SIN SEPARATES you from a right relationship with God!

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

A = ACKNOWLEDGE JESUS CHRIST (his life, his death and his resurrection) as the ONLY WAY to a RIGHT RELATIONSHIP with God. For the wages of sin is death (THE BAD NEWS), but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (THE GOOD NEWS) (Romans 6:23)

C = CONFESS BY FAITH (from your heart not just from your head) that you choose to make JESUS CHRIST the LORD AND MASTER of EVERY AREA OF YOUR LIFE. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:10)

Go ahead pray something like this now:

Dear God, I am so sorry for ignoring you, rejecting you and not living my life for you. I acknowledge that you sent your Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross to pay the full price for ALL my sin and unrighteous acts! As a result of His sacrifice I can be forgiven for everything, and that means everything that I have ever done wrong. I can start a brand new life in Christ today and receive a new righteousness that makes me completey acceptable to you! So Father I believe that Jesus died for me, and I recieve this amazing gift of grace. I confess that I am a sinner and I now ask Jesus to forgive (and he does). Jesus I now invite you to come into my life and I ask also for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to lead me, teach me and help me make choices that will reflect the new life that I now have in Christ. Thank you Jesus for saving me!

(If you do this your old sinful ways will decrease and disappear and God’s Grace will flow freely!

E = ENJOY GOD’S GRACE EVERYDAY!

Read the Bible (start with the NT) /Talk to Jesus as a friend; thank him for the good things; ask for help in the hard things / Invite him to fill your life to overflowing with His Spirit (the water of life) / As you SPEND TIME with him; His GRACE will have a positive, transformational EFFECT in your life!
